Picking a wedding date the traditional way (by Bazi 八字 and Tong Shu 通書) is what most Malaysian Chinese couples want and what their parents expect. The existing options are either expensive metaphysics consultants or free websites with shaky logic. A clean, fast version that's actually trustworthy.

JiRi (吉日)
Auspicious wedding date selector for MY/SG Chinese-speaking couples. Bazi + Tong Shu engines, freemium with Stripe, shareable image cards.

Two calculation engines. Both birth dates and a date range in; ranked auspicious dates out, with shareable image cards. Free tier shows the count and top result. RM68 unlocks the full list with breakdowns. Next.js 16 + Tailwind v4 frontend, NestJS + Prisma + Postgres backend, Stripe Checkout.
The whole stack is server-side deterministic math. No AI shortcuts. Bazi and Tong Shu are rule-based classical Chinese traditions and the implementation respects them. The actual work was cross-referencing those rules against classical sources, then turning them into auditable TypeScript.
