A WhatsApp chatbot that handles expense tracking conversationally. "Spent RM12 on roti" goes straight to food. "Show me this month" gives you a breakdown. Built on the WhatsApp Cloud API, Node, Postgres for the ledger, and an LLM layer translating natural language into structured intent.

The hard problem isn't logging an expense, it's what the bot says when it can't parse you. A generic "sorry I didn't understand" kills the trust instantly. The fallback ladder asks Manglish-friendly clarifying questions ("you mean food right?") so even when the model misses, the conversation stays warm.
