E-commerce for a Sri Aman fresh mart. React + Redux + Strapi. Built for a region where most people still shop at the counter.
A fresh mart in Sri Aman, Sarawak, wanting to sell groceries online in a region where most people still shop at the counter. Not a fast-moving market, but a real local need: fresh produce delivered in a place with limited supermarket coverage.
React + Redux storefront, Strapi as the headless CMS so the family running the shop could add products without engineer involvement. Cold-chain-aware categories (frozen, chilled, ambient), cart, checkout, accounts, order tracking.
Wasn't really a tech problem, more an interaction-design one. Big imagery for low-bandwidth phones, plain Bahasa Malaysia copy, fewer steps than the standard e-com flow. The point was that someone's auntie should be able to order without help.
